Object Hotel offers lodging and art inspired by southwestern desert landscape and culture. We have two historic properties:

Desert Rose, a historic adobe structure in downtown Tucson, Arizona originally built in 1880 and fully renovated in 2017.

29 Main Street, our 20,000 sqft Italianite building in the heart of Old Bisbee. Formerly a Woolworth, we've upgraded all of the rooms, stocked with vintage furniture, and hidden fun treasures throughout.

The Vision

Object Hotel is inspired by the power of living with art.  Our walls are covered with my collection of paintings and photographs by Arizona artists such as Jeffrey Bohm, Puspa Lohmeyer, and Kitty Brophy.  Some of our rooms, such as the Sonoran Safari room (2B), are shop-able and offer an intimate exploration of Puspa's photographs of the region as well as Heather Weston's leather tapestries for sale.   Most of our bathrooms have gorgeous nude portraits our friends lounging in the desert.  Please reach out if you are interested in any of the work or scheduling a photoshoot during your stay.  The gallery downstairs is a collective of local photographers, designers, and paintings.

Travel, solitude, and studio time have unlocked my creativity and that is why I keep the hotel doors open in this special town.  Artists have been passing through Bisbee since the mines closed in the 70s and we welcome anyone coming to town to recenter and create by offering an artist rate + open art studio.

Getting Here

Our Tucson property is located a 16 minute drive from Tucson International Airport at 220 N Meyer Ave.

Our Bisbee property is a 90 minute drive from Tucson International Airport, or 3 hours from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport at 29 Main Street.

If you're road-tripping, we're about an hour off I-10 through Benson, Arizona. 

Staying Here 

In addition to nightly hotel visits, we offer discounted weekly and monthly rentals for long-term stays and remote work. All guests have access to gigabit internet speeds (dual-ISP, load-balanced) optimized for ZOOM conference calls via Eero mesh WiFi throughout the hotel.
