This isn’t your average yoga retreat, it’s a rare opportunity to learn this ancient approach to accessing the keys to a woman’s healing and unlocking her natural power, beauty, sexuality, and prosperity. I was lucky enough to join the last teaching of this online in 2020 and have asked Hari to teach it again and in person at Object Hotel.
So what exactly are these “moon centers”?
Moon Centers are vortexes of awareness in a woman’s body.
The physical locations of the moon centers are considered power points of feminine energy that magnify a woman’s sexuality, power, love, and beauty. When a moon center is activated, a woman has deeper access to the creative powers, emotions, memories, and heightened sensitivity to the region connected to that moon center. Embodying this wisdom can free a woman from her past traumas and bring more clarity to her power.

Here’s what makes this retreat so special:
Hari, a master teacher and yoga therapist, was one of the first women in the West to be introduced to the moon center teachings. Yogi Bhajan shared the concept of the moon centers with a group of women in the 70s explaining he could not teach this as a man, only women can teach this and asked the women to take this information and deepen their experience of the moon centers to teach it to others. Hari has been guiding women in healing through many modalities over the decades, but this particular teaching is rarely shared as it is incredibly subtle in nature and can take years to master and experience.

Hari directs and teaches kundalini classes and teacher trainings worldwide. She pioneered teaching kundalini yoga in high schools and hospitals and was the director and developer of Kundalini Yoga wellness programs at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the Greater Boston Area from 1988-2004, when she moved to NYC with her husband Dave.
Since her time in hospitals, respected scientific studies have shown the efficacy of kundalini yoga practices for many health challenges including insomnia and generalized anxiety disorder.
Yoga Journal Hari was the only Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher to be chosen as one of the Top Ten Influencers of Yoga in the West.

Bisbee Geology - Quartz basement + Copper

Object Hotel, lodging for artists
Our 20,000 square foot Italianite building once owned by John Wayne is located in the heart of Bisbee and walking distance from restaurants, markets, and hiking trails. Formerly a Woolworth’s, we’ve upgraded all the rooms and decorated them with vintage furniture and paintings and photographs by Arizona artists. Our shop downstairs, Object Trading Post, boasts the best selection of vintage cowboy boots and western jackets as well as our favorite local designers and perfumers. We offer artist rates for longer stays and our 3rd floor art studio is open to guests when not occupied by a visiting artist.
